Free2Learn are working in partnership with The Range to recruit apprentices across the UK to support The Range to provide opportunities for Retail Customer Service Apprentices to be a part of their team.

The Range is recognised for its unique variety with more than 65,000 quality products across 16 departments including; DIY, Homewares, Furniture, Lighting, Arts & Crafts and Garden. The Ranges’ ethos is to present mid-price home, leisure and garden products, drawing together everything that could be needed for a stylish home, all at affordable prices.

The Range continues to evolve, with stores stretching all across the UK. The Range has also diversified into property, manufacturing, waste management, shop-fitting and dry cleaning and financial management with the launch of The Money-range. The Range will continue to endeavor to offer quality products at affordable prices.

The Post

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to gain vocational experience as well as completing an apprenticeship, working for one of the country’s fastest growing employers as a Customer Services Assistant in the Retail Industry.

We are looking for Apprentices that are capable of working within a team but also on their own, using their initiative and able to deal with customers and colleagues in a warm, caring and polite manner.

The successful apprentice will be completing a Customer Service Apprenticeship Level 2 and will be employed directly by The Range for the duration of the apprenticeship with possible progression opportunities beyond.

Main Duties

  •         Offering the highest levels of customer service at all times
  •         Dealing with Customer Requests
  •         Supporting the Office Administration Staff
  •         Dealing with Telephone Enquiries
  •         Stock Replenishment

Other Responsibilities

  •         Unloading Deliveries
  •         Stock Accounting
  •         Ensuring displays are visually attractive for customers
  •         Upselling products

The duration of the apprenticeship is 12 months and 1 day.
