What are Digital Skills?
Digital Skills are a mix of important skills that includes creating an excel spread sheet to using information online. Employers are looking for you to be able to finding, evaluating and use information online, so you can decipher what’s fake news and what’s not. How to keep your digital data and devices secure from cyber-attacks and company breaches. How to use the cloud for work and pleasure, so you can communicate and collaborate on projects and tasks. How to make digital documents and media appropriate for the work place. How to operate a computer softwares and interfaces, that will help you work smarter.
How can you should your got good Digital Skills?
It’s important to show employers that you have good Digital Capabilities and one of the best ways you can do this is on your CV. Adding software and what skills you have to your skills section of your CV, will show employers how you match with the role and who good you will be at the job. You can also show your Digital Capabilities by having your CV well laid-out. Using readable fonts, having a good layout and flow, and presenting it in the correct format. You can also show your skills through your experience in previous roles. You can show the tasks you have done that involve digital skills and how well you have used them to carry out your tasks.
