Our Event Stewarding courses also include nationally accredited qualifications that give the learner an advantage when applying for jobs. On completion of the course, and on the condition the learner has provided Crowd Master all their documents and CW have confirmed this, the learner will receive a guaranteed interview. To achieve this course, the learner will need to be observed at 2 events, which they will be paid an hourly rate for.
Course duration: 2 weeks, plus a 2-day paid work placement
1 week online and 1 week Classroom based at Hackney centre – 263-265 Mare Street, London, E8 3NS.
Learning hours: 9:30am – 4.30pm, Monday – Friday

- Emergency First Aid
- Unit 1: Know how to prepare for a spectator event
- Unit 2: Know how to assist with the movement of spectators and deal with crowd issues at events
- Unit 3: Know how to help to manage and resolve conflicts
- Unit 4: Know how to deal with incidents at spectator events
- Unit 5: Know how to support the work of your team and organisation
To achieve this qualification and gain employment you must:
- Undertake 2 day paid workplace practical observation
- 1.5 h virtual stadium induction session (scheduled by the stadium)
- Complete a first aid course

Eligibility criteria:
To join a course, the candidate will need to be over 19 years’ old, unemployed and in receipt of benefit (JSA, ESA, Income Support or Universal Credit)
- In order to complete all enrolment forms and check eligibility criteria, we need a proof of benefits and an ID, such as valid passport (driving licence or provisional driving licence will only be accepted together with a UK birth certificate).
- If not British, we require a resident card/permit issued from 2019 or before as a proof of living in the UK lawfully for more than 3 years.
- If you are a member of the EU, we require a picture of your passport, pre-settled or settled status shared code.
- Learners will also need to complete a mandatory Maths & English online assessment.
Event Stewarding
To achieve this qualification, learners must successfully demonstrate their achievement of all learning
outcomes of the units as detailed in this Qualification. This includes 2 on the job observations and achievement of the first aid course in week 2 before you can undertake you work based observation.

The Crowd Master carry out a standard criminal record check on any individual who applies for a vacancy. If you do have a criminal record, it does not necessarily mean that you will not get a job.
