This qualification has been designed to introduce you to the basic skills, qualities and knowledge that are essential to working in any Health, Social Care and Children’s and Young People’s Setting. You will gain an understanding of the range of services and roles within the Health and Social care sector. You will be aware of safeguarding measures, communication skills needed and health and safety aspects of Health and Social care. This course is designed and developed to give an understanding of a range of common areas which are mandatory within the sector, such as; service provision, equality and in- clusion principles and values, protection and safeguarding, communication and per- son-centred support. You will also be guar- anteed an interview as part of this course.
