NAIL TECHNOLOGY COURSE KEY INFORMATION

Course duration: 9 weeks

Blended learning: 3 weeks

Face to Face learning: 6 weeks

Learning hours: 10am to 3pm – Monday to Friday

Please note, to register for this course, you need to be able to attend classes at our Hackney office in London, 3 days a week.

NAIL COURSE PROGRAMME

Week 1:

Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service

- Supporting the customer service environment
- Delivery of effective customer service

Week 2:

Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading

- Team Leading Responsibilities
- Managing yourself and providing direction to your team
- Communicating Information and Knowledge in the Workplace

Week 3:

Level 1 Certificate in Personal Development for employability

- Career Planning
- Planning for personal development
- Health and Safety in the workplace
- CV Writing
- Searching for a Job
- Interview Skills
- Preparation for work

Weeks 4-9:

Level 2 Certificate in Nail Technology
- Includes a City & Guildes qualification for Manicure and Nail Technology

This qualification will cover:

Learn the relevant skills to suceed in all manicure styles including; traditional + french manicure (Plus, spa and luxury treatments)
Maintain health and safety in the salon
Client care and communication
Promote product sales within the salon
How to apply and maintin artifical nail enhancements including; acrylic + UV gel

ASSESSMENTS

After each theoretical unit, learners will complete a multiple-choice online exam. This also includes, practical observations by your tutor. Both these assessments will contribute to your final grade and portfolio.

NEXT STEPS

After completion of your Level 2 Nail Technology qualification, you will have the opportunity to continue your nail tech journey through our VTCT Level 3 Nail Technology Diploma. This will enhance your skills and techniques, to better your career options.
