The Security Course has been designed to incorporate the evolving needs and demands of a variety of employers, in different environments, such as bars, restaurants, supermarkets, warehouses and reception areas.
You will learn essential skills such as monitoring public areas for threat, identifying potential thief, the ability to respond to emergency situations and understand how your role impacts on retail outlets.

To join a course, the candidate will need to be over 19 years’ old, unemployed and in receipt of benefit (JSA, ESA, Income Support or Universal Credit)
Door Supervisor Examination
The course is assessed by 4 multiple choice exams and a practical exam. These will be held on the last day and will test the learner’s knowledge of the content taught during the course.
With experience, you could progress to team leader or area supervisor.
As a door supervisor, you can also work in non-licensed venues as a security guard, for example, in an office building, shopping center or on CCTV surveillance.
You could also go on to start your own private security agency.
