Background:
Ben was someone who came from the Job Centre. He always had a passion for doing something in Security because his older brother had been in that industry for a while and Ben always looked up to his older brother. However, Ben always struggled with self-confidence and working with others, and he knew this would be key for him to gain his badge and work in the same industry as his brother.
Free2Learn Journey:
He was referred to the SIA course Free 2 Learn had to offer and he attended every day taking part in all the sessions giving 100%. He successfully completed the course passing all his exams and he then attended the interview with Mitie who had security roles in Sainsburys across the Doncaster area which was set up by Free 2 Learn. He has since successfully passed the interview and is now going through the background checks for his new job with a start date imminent
